Thrasamund

(Around 450-523) Vandal king (496-523).
During Thrasamund's reign, the Vandals were reduced from being a strong Mediterranean kingdom, into becoming a small centered to modern northeastern Algeria and northern Tunisia.
He ended the persecution of the Roman Catholics, helping him to keep control of the Vandal heartland.
Biography
Around 450: Born as son of Gento, son of Gaiseric.
496: King Gunthamund dies, and Thrasamund succeeds him, being the oldest surviving male member of the royal family.
523: Dies, and is succeeded by his cousin, Hilderic.
