GIZA:
Mastaba of Neferbauptah

Mastaba of Neferbauptah, Giza, Egypt

Mastaba of Neferbauptah, Giza, Egypt

The tomb of Neferbauptah is one of the finest private tombs to the west of the Pyramid of Khufu. Wall decorations are colourful and quite well-preserved. The paintings deal mainly with images of Neferbauptah and his wife receiving offerings and blessings, as well as agricultural scenes.
There is an open court and an offering room with a statue of Neferbauptah cut into the wall.
