MEIDUM:
Ceremonial causeway

Ceremonial causeway leading up to the Pyramid of Snefru, Meidum, Egypt

Only part of the ceremonial causeway is cleared, and the valley temple is still unexcavated. The causeway is easy to spot, and should be visited, as it is the oldest surviving of its kind.
A tiny chapel lies at the end of the causeway, and is in better condition than most other causeway buildings anywhere.
