AÏT LEKAK:
Village of High Atlas

Ait Lekah
Aït Lekak is the largest settlement on the climb to Oukaïmeden, lying just underneath the gorges that lead into the valley of Moroccan skiing. Aït Lekah is a small farmer's village, living off red soil, green grass, and very moderate expectations to wealth.
A walk will not take more than 10 minutes, but the charming kids that follow you whereever you go, will try to convince you to stay longer.
Aït Lekah

Practicalities
Except for the tiny food store there are no tourist amenities in the village. For any form of service, return to Oukaïmeden. Hitching out of town should however be quite possible.
