The beach of Asilah is extremely conveniently located, beginning just a kilometre north of the medina; many of the hotels are positioned right between the two attractions. It does, however, take quite a stretch before it becomes good and popular. Waves are fine here, undertows are rarely a problem.
Not without reason, the other beach of Asilah, 3 km south, is called Paradise Beach. You can get out here by horse-drawn carriage.
