These two photos are taken in January, at the time when the almonds and walnut trees had started to blossom. The visual effect is strong, when the large gardens of white flowers lit by the miserly winter sun, shroud the mountains like a haze.
Don't be mislead by the apparent warmth of the pictures. Temperatures were down at the freezing point.
