AÏN DRAHAM:
The forest

The forest around the town of Ain Draham belongs to the popular Khroumirie Mountains. Although almost unpronounceable, this is usually considered to be the most attractive mountain landscape of Tunisia. Part of the attraction are the may wild boars here.
The region has the highest level of rainfall in the country, and at winter, the snow can reach levels of up to a metre.
The dominating trees here are cork oak, which by its twisting branches offers great variety by itself.
