HOTELS AND ALTERNATIVES
There is a handful hotels in this town, which to some extent serves as a centre for desert and oases exploration south of Chott el Jerid. All of them seem to aim at middle-class travellers. There is only one hotel and a youth hostel for budget travellers and even less for those with money to spend. But prices do vary a bit.

RESTAURANTS AND ALTERNATIVES
Basic restaurants are found in town centre. If you want something better, you will have to go to one of the hotels.

NIGHTLIFE
Nothing. There is a bar at the hotel Kitam, but this is just a place where locals go to drink cheap beer.

CHANGE MONEY
Kebili has a selection of banks where you can make cash withdrawals on your credit card, or change foreign currencies.

TRANSPORT
Very good connections with likely destinations: There are 3 directions: Douz (for the oases circuit), Gabes on the coast, and Tozeur on the northern side of the Chott el Jerid.
