TAMERZA:
The waterfall of the desert
Tamerza, Tunisia

The main waterfall of Tamerza is about 5 metres high, and carries water all through the year. Still, winter or spring is the best time to visit, as the quantity of water is not terribly impressive during summer. The photo above was taken in September 2005.
The climb down and the stream running from the waterfall is all quite attractive. Further on, the gorge of Tamera is found.
