Utica's musuem has a nice collection of items, many which would not have fared well if they had been left behind in the ruins. Perhaps the most interesting things here are small, every objects, like utensils, razors and jewellery (lower right). Why are the small items most interesting? Because they cast light on a part of Tunisian history which is far harder to get your hands on than the Roman period. Also note the mosaics (Roman), like the one from the House of the Hunt (top left).
