In order to take in the main attraction of Akseki, insist from locals to get road directions along the northern road. Everyone will try to send you south, being most likely the same road that you came. And with good reason, the nothern road is rough and unsurfaced. But quite passable for a normal car.
Very pretty, and varied landscape make the effort worthwhile. There are no settlements, and the mountain pass, at 1525 metres, offers great views for tens of kilometres
