The natural harbour of Antalya is delightfull small. It has been in use for millennias, and is often referred to as the Roman Harbour. It was in full commercial use until late into the 20th century, when a new port was established 12 km to the west.
Just a few houses squeeze the way down to the sea. Cliffs rise above the boats and on top begins the real city of Antalya. Still, while standing down here, Antalya has a small town feeling.
