The centre of Phaselis is easy to find, a wide avenue connects the northern and southern harbours. Its centre is dominated by a plaza though to have been the agora. Next to this lies the acropolis and theatre.
Rather small, Phaselis' theatre could seat 1500 spectators. It was built according to Roman designs in the 2nd century CE but in this case there seems to have been a connection between size and quality. The theatre's crude seats have survived, but the place looks like after an earthquake.
