Termessos has, in addition to its Southern Necropolis, rock tombs that are set apart from the ancient city. The main tomb, is commonly accepted to be of Alcatus. Alcatus fought one of Alexander the Great's successors, Antigonus, but being decieved by the elders of Termessos, he committed suicide rather than being taken captive.
The tomb exterior shows armour identical to that of Alexander the Great in a mosaic in Naples archaeological museum.
